Every man and woman could use a little privacy and time alone with their bonded. Or perhaps there is a romance between riders they may want to keep quiet? The room and board of the weyr are here.

| The Creche
The youngsters, the babes, of all dragonfolk are raised and fostered here. Visitation is open for all who dare to enter this place of childish screams.

| Weyrling Barracks
When a new dragon-rider pair come to be, they can not yet claim a weyr their own. Not when they have training to accomplish and bonding to develop. Under the carefilled gaze of the Weyrlingmaster, the youngsters progress in their own little outcropping to the east of the weyr cliffs.

| Candidate Barracks
For the newly searched, this is their new home. With chores and lessons and new names and faces to learn, they toil here. Set to the west of the weyr cliffs, close to the hatching sands, they must until the clutch hardens and dragons hum before their time has come.

| The Caverns
Whether you are in the Records Room or snacking in the Kitchens, riders and weyrfolk often mingle in the passage ways and carved out rooms. Be careful you don't interrupt a game of dragoncards or walk into an argument, you may very well become a part of it.

| The Hatching Sands
Whenever a queen does lay her clutch, here they will harden and lay in wait until the day they shake and quiver before the nervous eyes of candidates. Will you be among the lucky to impress and join the weyrling ranks?

| The Weyr Territory
Reaching as far north as the icy plateaus and as far south as the bays. The main territory itself hardly surpasses the valleys of the mountains.

| Varros Lake
The blue is so deep and dark that you'd think it goes down forever. If it were not for the strange warmth of the water, no one would dare enter it. Carved out by glaciers centuries ago, it is rimmed entirely by deposited quartz sands. A glistening beauty and frequented spot by all weyr residents.

| The Weyr Bowl
The entire expanse of open space is not unlike most other bowls. Though it lacks the extreme rise into the cliffs, it does indeed rise up to the weyr and sink down to the lake. Because of the glacier, it is smooth rather than ragged and much more pleasant by far. So many people gather about that it is hard to miss a familiar face.

| The Hunting Grounds
Do you have a hungry dragon on your hands? Best get him or her along to the hunting grounds where they can feast upon herdbeast and wherry alike. Is that a rising dragon? Queens blood here and dragons rise from here when their instincts tell them it is time for a mating flight.
